Begacestat (GSI-953, GSI953)是可口服的γ -secretase选择性噻吩磺酰胺抑制剂，抑制阻断APP的Aβ方向剪切，在表达人重组APP的细胞中，减少Aβ40和Aβ42，有潜力用于阿尔兹海默症的研究。
